Overnight
Home Boarding
£38 per night · drop-off and pick-up between 8am and 8pm
Your dog stays in my house as one of the family — not in a kennel, run or outbuilding. With a firm limit of four dogs at any one time, there's room to give each one proper attention.
- Two proper walks a day around the footpaths and green spaces near Wickford.
- Fed on your dog's own schedule, with the food you already use — just send it along.
- Play, puzzles and mental enrichment through the day: snuffle mats, treat puzzles, scent games and training games.
- A room of their own to take themselves off to whenever they want a break from the company — for nervous dogs, older dogs, or anyone who'd rather eat and sleep away from the others.
- Sleeping indoors, wherever suits your dog — their own bed, your crate, or the sofa if that's the rule at home.
- Photos and updates while you're away.
Staying more than three nights?
We'll do a trial overnight first, at half the nightly rate (£19). Your dog gets to sleep here once and see that you come back — which makes the real stay far less of a leap for them.
Need a drop-off before 8am or a pick-up after 8pm? Just ask. Extended hours can usually be arranged and are costed individually.

Doggy Daycare
£25 per day
For dogs who'd otherwise be home alone all day. Yours spends the day here with me, with company, garden time, a decent walk and a proper sleep in the middle — then comes home pleasantly worn out rather than wired.
- Drop off from 8am, pick up by 8pm.
- Walks, garden play and enrichment through the day.
- Meals and medication given exactly as you'd give them at home.
- Same four-dog limit — daycare dogs count towards it too.
Need it earlier or later than 8am–8pm? Extended hours can be arranged for an extra charge — just mention it when you enquire.
At your end · SS11 & SS12 only
Dog Walking
£20 per hour
A full hour out — not a rushed twenty minutes round the block. I collect from your house and we head out on the local footpaths and green spaces.
Dogs stay on the lead throughout. It's the safest way to walk someone else's dog near roads and livestock, and it means you never have to wonder whether your recall is being tested without you there.
- Small, carefully matched groups — never a big pack. I check how your dog is with others before they walk together.
- Paws wiped and water topped up before I leave.
- A quick message to let you know how it went.
Wickford only
Because walking and drop-ins happen at your house rather than mine, I keep them to the SS11 and SS12 postcodes. If you're a street or two outside, do ask anyway.

Pet Drop-Ins
£10 per 30-minute visit
For pets who are far happier staying put in their own home. I come to you — ideal for cats, older dogs, dogs who don't settle elsewhere, or a long day at work that's run over.
- Feeding, fresh water and medication as instructed.
- Garden break or a short walk for dogs; litter tray sorted for cats.
- Company, a fuss and some play — the visit isn't just admin.
- Quick tidy-up of any accidents, plants watered and curtains adjusted if you'd like the house to look lived-in.
Book as many visits a day as your pet needs. Same postcode restriction as walking: SS11 and SS12.

How payment works. A 50% deposit secures the booking and the balance is due 24 hours before the stay begins. Card payments are handled securely through Stripe. Full details on the Policies & FAQ page.
